About Holy Trinity Lutheran Preschool
We are a non-profit, Christian preschool sponsored by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Our mission and ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus with children of our community by providing a Christ-centered education. Your child will have the opportunity to know and experience the unconditional love of Jesus through Bible stories, prayer, songs, and Chapel. Our program also enhances cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development through a play based environment.
We believe that given the right start, children find ways to learn that are right for them. That's why at Holy Trinity Lutheran Preschools we combine two curriculum's, “The Creative Curriculum” and the Christian Curriculum “Voyagers” which gives children both the guidance and the freedom to learn in ways meaningful to them. It's more than just daycare — highly trained teachers and staff encourage kids' natural curiosity and wonder within a safe, homelike environment. Children leave Holy Trinity empowered to be creative problem solvers, life-long learners and interesting, interested individuals.
Objectives:
Learning is a natural process in the proper environment. At Holy Trinity, we try to provide a stimulating, happy Christian atmosphere in which each child can learn and develop as freely and creatively as possible. We place special emphasis on making each child feel accepted and comfortable in the school situation. Enrollment is open to children 18 months through six years of age.
Each child is given the opportunity to:
- • Explore and discover his/her enlarging world in a happy, unpressured atmosphere.
- • Learn to get along with others.
- • Develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.
- • Acquire skills and “learn to learn.”
- • Create and communicate.
- • Experience joy and beauty.
Our Staff:
Holy Trinity Lutheran Preschool is licensed by the State of California of Social Service. We are affiliated with Lutheran Church Missouri-Synod Preschools as well as the National Association of Education for Young Children. We are a staff of professionals and qualified educators in the field of early childhood education. The entire staff is trained and certified in Infant/Child and Adult CPR. In addition, we are accredited by the NLSA (National Lutheran Schools Accredidation).
